Hi!
I had a wonderful time filming a short movie called 'Open Plan' directed by the talented Daniel Murtha of DDAANN Studio about a polyamorous 'Throuple' looking to all move in together in a flat.
Also, the online commercials that I worked on with Shaun Williamson have all been released online with more than half a million hits on the Currys. PC World official Facebook website!
I did a semi-staged rehearsed reading of a new comedy "Hell's Grannies" written by Jackie Skarvellis which we staged at Pentameters Theatre and doing for a further few days there in the new year.
It's a funny tale of two senior citizens on the run when they decide to rob a bank!
I also read a poem 'A New Country' about being an immigrant in the UK at the monthly event 'Paper Tiger Poetry' at The Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall hosted by actor and author Alain English.
It's been Onother busy and productive year and will now be putting my feet up and enjoy the break.
I would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very happy and healthy new year and thank you so much for reading my blog! xx

I filmed five different commercials for an online campaign for Currys PC World with actor Shaun Williamson known for playing Barry in Eastenders as well as many other notable actors.
The first one will be online as soon as next week so look out for them.
They were directed by Will Riddell and produced by 1000 Heads.
I'm also preparing for a very funny and well-written character for a short film which we're filming next month about a flat viewing with a twist!
As well as a film based on a true story during WW2
Will keep you posted with all upcoming projects.
Keep smiling

A big thank you to all who came to see my directorial debut 'Filumena' at The Drayton Arms Theatre.
It was a huge learning curve for me personally but I enjoyed every minute (almost!)
The cast were phenomenal and the production team were all top-notch.
We had full houses and some very positive responses from audiences who told me that it had touched them and made them laugh.
The critics were also very favourable giving us very good reviews which was a real bonus.
And of course it was an honour to bring De Filippo's beautiful and heart-warming words to life.
In other news,I filmed a reconstruction for a Channel 5 documentary which I cannot talk about at the moment but will keep you posted once it's shown on T.V.
I also shot a photographic campaign for Network Rail which was shot by Gary Salter.
The UK Podcasters awards were a lot of fun...we went up toManchester for the ceremony which took place at the lovely Midland Hotel.
It didn't win but what an honour to be nominated and be amongst such creative and original Podcasters,so keep listening as we have some fantastic guests on!
Til next time
Keep smiling ;-)

Hello!
As well as recording the first episode of my podcast this week I am busy with making my dream of directing into a reality.
I have chosen to direct a play by the great Neapolitan playwright Eduardo De Filippo called 'Filumena' translated into English.
It will be on for a one-week run in September at The Drayton Arms Theatre to start off and then possibly take it further afield.
I am crowdfunding on Indiegogo to raise funds for the budget so I hope you will donate as much or as little as you can.
Also, look out for my HSBC commercial which airs in the UK on the 6th of June.
Thanks for reading and more soon!

Its a terrific 3 act play about a group of teachers and the difficulty of embracing love.
It premiered at The Royal Court in 2000 under the helm of Rufus Norris.
I also filmed a short film 'Fare Thee Well"playing 'Napoleon' which will be screened at the BFI as part of a composer competition at The Waterloo Festival with the winning orchestra playing live at the special screening on 15th June.

So,here goes my second blog of the year.
The play I did at The Hen and Chickens Theatre 'The Blind Bet' was a great joy to work on.
It was very well received and the cast and everybody involved under the helm of Jordan Murphy did a brilliant job!
My classes at The Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop are continuing and I'm getting a lot out of them, learning to get out of my own way in a scene and really just be in the moment, listening to my scene partner as well as taking onboard the notes and directions afterwards as a way of learning or in my case unlearning and to trust myself that I am enough! Thanks Anthony Meindl,Mitchell Mullen and Cynthia Levin for your guidance and inspiration as well as all my class mates.you guys are amazing!
My next project is going to take me in a whole new direction and I'm very excited.
I'm starting my own podcast: The Tino Orsini Show.
It'll be an irreverent chat show about the arts with special guests and film/theatre reviews so look out for it soon,it'll be broadcast on Podbean and hopefully on ITunes once we get it going.
So,thanks for following my blog and keep smiling!
