Hello!
As well as recording the first episode of my podcast this week I am busy with making my dream of directing into a reality.
I have chosen to direct a play by the great Neapolitan playwright Eduardo De Filippo called 'Filumena' translated into English.
It will be on for a one-week run in September at The Drayton Arms Theatre to start off and then possibly take it further afield.
I am crowdfunding on Indiegogo to raise funds for the budget so I hope you will donate as much or as little as you can.
Also, look out for my HSBC commercial which airs in the UK on the 6th of June.
Thanks for reading and more soon!

I'm happy to announce my next theatre production is David Eldridge's 'Under the Blue Sky' at Drayton Arms Theatre on the 8th and 9th March directed by Denholm Spurr in which I will be playing Robert along with David Paisley,Natalie Sheriff,Alex Piggins,Rachel Dobell and Louise Tyler.
Its a terrific 3 act play about a group of teachers and the difficulty of embracing love.
It premiered at The Royal Court in 2000 under the helm of Rufus Norris.
I also filmed a short film 'Fare Thee Well"playing 'Napoleon' which will be screened at the BFI as part of a composer competition at The Waterloo Festival with the winning orchestra playing live at the special screening on 15th June.
It is directed by Sye Allen and Adam Greves of APOSTLE production company and I had a lot of fun with all the cast and crew!

So,here goes my second blog of the year.
The play I did at The Hen and Chickens Theatre 'The Blind Bet' was a great joy to work on.
It was very well received and the cast and everybody involved under the helm of Jordan Murphy did a brilliant job!
My classes at The Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop are continuing and I'm getting a lot out of them, learning to get out of my own way in a scene and really just be in the moment, listening to my scene partner as well as taking onboard the notes and directions afterwards as a way of learning or in my case unlearning and to trust myself that I am enough! Thanks Anthony Meindl,Mitchell Mullen and Cynthia Levin for your guidance and inspiration as well as all my class mates.you guys are amazing!
My next project is going to take me in a whole new direction and I'm very excited.
I'm starting my own podcast: The Tino Orsini Show.
It'll be an irreverent chat show about the arts with special guests and film/theatre reviews so look out for it soon,it'll be broadcast on Podbean and hopefully on ITunes once we get it going.
So,thanks for following my blog and keep smiling!

I took part in "The Platform" a page to stage workshop at the inaugural night of The Bread and Roses Theatre.
The piece we did,'The Stand-In"was very well received.
I played a flamboyant American theatre director holding an audition with a young ingenue actress played by Natasha Santos.
We were both upstaged by our "co-star" Socko the puppet wonderfully worked by Emily Essery.
It was directed by Charlotte Peters with great aplomb!
I also shot a national commercial for one of the high street banks directed by Gary Freedman for Independent which will come out soon and had fun at The British Theatre Challenge at the LOST Theatre with 'The Proposition' ' by Brian Coyle.
It's been a very productive year and looking forward to getting my teeth into some more great and challenging roles in the new year, starting with the feature film "Monalisa Lives".
Thank you for reading this blog and I hope to keep you posted on all my upcoming creative projects!

Hi there!
I'm busy with a few projects.
I took part in Blackshaw Theatre's new writing night held at The Horse and Stables in Lambeth with a one-act play written by Richard Woulfe and directed by Robert Beck called 'No Going Back'.
It is a humorous take on connecting with former lovers via Facebook and I played Drew.
My wife was read by Andrea Deeley and the ex-lover by Tara Gadomski (Orange is the New Black)
We received some very positive feedback from the audience and Richard plans to write a further piece with the same characters which I would love to do.
Also,I am doing The Cambridge Theatre Challenge again, having done it last year with Sky Blue Theatre Company.
I am performing one of the 10 plays called 'The Proposition' directed by John Mitton.
We perform it on the 24th of October at the LOST Theatre with an additional night on the 25th for the other half of the plays.
The audience votes their favourite.
that's all for now.
Will keep you posted as usual with all my shows!
